COSTUME CHANGE PLATFORM TESSERACT (Peter Boulanger) This is a one of a kind (designed by Shawn Farquhar), custom built platform for Juliana Chen to change costumes without the aid of cloths, separate flash pots on stage, etc. The platform is slightly tilted and hides two Antari fog machines which shoot fog through a tunnel in the platform and out many holes on the top surface creating a tube of fog to cover the change. DAVID ROBINSON This is one of the most powerful sawing a lady in half illusions ever invented. 2 male members of the audience strap your assistants neck and feet down to an antique surgical table and hold her down with chains. 2 boxes are placed over her body. 2 metal blades are then inserted in the middle of the boxes, followed by 2 samurai swords. The tables are then unlatched and the boxes are seperated. All is reversed and the assistant is totally unharmed. This is a heavy duty class A illusion so don't be fooled by cheap imitations or pay for over priced models. It weighs 145 pounds and breaks down pretty small. There are also 8 table legs as opposed to the normal 6. This makes the prop alot more stable. Bungie cord is also used to hold the boxes down to the table instead of straps. From the ATA case, one person can assemble the Pro Fire Cage in under 2 minutes! Here's the best news ....there are NO bolts or nuts, wing nuts, pins, clips or any other fasteners of any kind to get lost! Yet, this is very strong and stable yet has industrial strength! DREAM ILLUSIONS is a "kicker" that has been added. "Konundrum Kube" Your beautiful assistant enters a tall "kube" from the side. You rotate kube, 360 degrees. Following that, you insert a large octagon tube, bi-secting the kube from front to back. You again rotate the kube 360 degrees. The audience is not impressed because they are sure "she is in the top half! Sorry to disappoint them, you begin to fold the 4 sides of the top half down till the kube is half the size it originally was. You may again rotate if you wish, and for a kicker you shove a "steel spike" from side to side, bi-secting not only the kube but the octagon tube earlier placed through the kube. This effect should fit a "dancer build" 5'6" assistant, is very deceptive, well built, and features Dream Illusions "no-bolt" assembly.
